The journey begins with an overnight train ride followed by an early morning trek through scenic trails leading to the fort summit.
Trip Itinerary
Day 1
Board the train on Saturday night. Overnight journey towards the trekking destination. Enjoy group interactions and prepare for the adventure ahead.
Day 2
Arrive at the nearest railway station early in the morning. Travel to the base village near Ratangad. Freshen up and have breakfast. Begin the trek towards Ratangad Fort. Trek through dense forests and scenic mountain trails. Reach the fort and explore its historical structures. Visit the famous Nedhe (natural rock cavity). Explore caves, water cisterns, and fortifications. Enjoy panoramic views of the Bhandardara region and surrounding peaks. Capture photographs and spend time at the summit. Descend back to the base village. Have lunch and relax. Begin the return journey towards home. Reach home late at night with memorable trekking experiences.
